Hey, I'm Alex.
I have spent about eight years in business development and sales. I started in IT recruiting, moved into SaaS sales, and most recently worked in land acquisitions and real estate - I even got my realtor's license. Technology, however broad, is where I have always been most passionate. Career-wise, I aim to be back in tech sales, and this website is something I can share beyond just a resume.
Alex Prompts serves to provide a commentary on Greenville real estate developments and news. Using Claude, I(?) also built basic tools for RE: mortgage calculator, rental deal analyzer, listing prompt builder, neighborhood area scan for investors, and a scanner of GVL commercial buyers. Additionally, I built a custom CRM. I call it Taraform. It's free to use if you'd like to create an account: taraform.org
A tech salesperson who actually understands tech.
I'm truly passionate about technology, and I understand technology is a very broad term. But it's true. I read about the stuff changing the world in my free time, and I'm fascinated by it. I'll read about anything from solar panels to underwater sea cables to mainstream stuff like Tesla's FSD cars or Anduril's autonomous drones.
That same curiosity is what makes me good in a sales seat. When I understand how a product genuinely works and where it actually helps, I can sell it honestly and well, which is the only way I know how to sell.
So, what is Alex Prompts?
It is a small commentary outlet on real estate in Greenville, South Carolina, plus a handful of free tools. I built it mostly to to have a personal site I can share with hiring managers, and also show what is possible when building with AI.
The tools on here are real and free to use. There is a rental deal analyzer, a mortgage and affordability calculator, a listing prompt builder, and a commercial buyers list pulled from public county records. The writing takes a local real estate story and works through both sides of it in plain English, without the hype or the doom found in most social media posts or publications, and aims to make you think at the end. Hence, Alex "Prompts."

I am looking for my next role in SaaS and tech sales.
I am especially drawn to companies building in real estate and proptech, where I get to sell something I would actually use myself. If that sounds like a fit, or you just want to talk shop, reach out.
